We’ve rolled out our biggest update yet, and it’s packed with lots of great stuff that make managing your data center even easier, smarter, and more efficient. Here’s a quick look at what’s new.

AI Assistant, Your Smart New Sidekick

Need help finding a feature, running a report, or understanding platform capabilities? The new AI Assistant (Beta) is here to help! Just ask a question in the Help Center, and our AI will guide you in real time — whether it’s explaining how something works or helping you get it done faster. Give it a try and let us know what you think. This feature can be enabled/disabled.

Hyperview New Search Tool

Search Now Faster, Smarter and Easier to Use

We’ve completely revamped the search system in Hyperview to make it faster, smarter, and easier to use. With a refreshed interface, improved performance, and handy keyboard shortcuts, finding what you need is quicker than ever. Plus, a new docking option lets you keep the search panel open while reviewing results, running additional searches, or chatting with the AI Assistant — all without breaking your flow.

More Control Over Asset Placement

Want more control over asset placement? You can now apply horizontal and vertical offsets in 2D and 3D layouts for more precise positioning of your assets to match your real-world data center.

Business Entities
You’ll now see each asset’s Lifecycle State in the Associated Assets list — giving you better insight into where things stand.

Connectivity Add-on
You can now set the port side on network device ports, helping you document your physical network connections more precisely.

BACnet Monitoring
We’ve added support for multi-state value object types, so you can monitor more devices with greater accuracy.

Modbus and BACnet Sensors
You can now scale numeric sensor readings using a multiplier — perfect for fine-tuning how your data is monitored.

Asset Auto Discovery

  • Better support for Rittal smart rack PDUs, Cisco switches, and environmental monitors.
  • Expanded discovery for devices from Lenovo, Panduit, APC, HPE, Vertiv, and Eaton — including servers, CRACs, PDUs, and UPS systems.

Platform Enhancements

  • Updated to API version 5.0
  • Dashboard widgets are now more responsive
  • New Lifecycle page added for Location asset types
  • The Data Collector installer now lets admins skip pre-checks if needed
