Ever fired up Burp Suite, all geared up to hack away, but somehow, it just doesn’t seem to cooperate? Until it dawns on you: Intercept enabled! 🤦

Never waste time wondering again by disabling Intercept on start-up under Settings -> Tools -> Proxy -> Disable interception.

To avoid getting bogged down with irrelevant data, head over to Proxy -> HTTP History -> Filter. Apply these filters to keep your HTTP history clean and focused:

• Hide these file types: gif,jpg,png,css,woff,woff2,svg,mp4,map
• Perform a negative search on OPTIONS /
• Show only in-scope items
• Hide items without responses

You don’t want to waste time sifting through a cluttered workspace. To avoid this, go to Tools -> Proxy -> Stop logging out-of-scope items. This will help you maintain a clean and organized testing environment, free from distractions.
