Yeah, that was me last month, except instead of watching Tom Cruise dance on TikTok, I was using deepfakes to bypass biometric authentication systems. It turns out that when companies say “your face is your password,” they forget to mention that AI can now copy your face better than your own mirror. 🪞
I was testing “BioSecure,” a company that promised “unbreakable biometric authentication” using “advanced facial recognition AI.” Their marketing claimed their system could “distinguish between real humans and spoofs with 99.99% accuracy.” What they actually had was more “kindergarten art class” level of facial recognition.
