Hi everyone! I was laid off a couple of months ago due to business reasons, like many others this year. I’m a cybersecurity major with about 3 to 4 years of experience and a Security+ certification, currently looking for new opportunities in cybersecurity or IT.

I’ve worked on security and compliance projects for federal, state, and private clients, focusing on risk assessments, audit readiness, and frameworks such as NIST and ISO. On the technical side, I’ve done vulnerability scanning with Nessus, AWS monitoring with Security Hub and GuardDuty, and POA&M tracking in ServiceNow. I’ve also helped create security policies, System Security Plans, and Risk Management Plans.

I’m open to GRC, IT, and SOC roles and would really appreciate any advice, referrals, or leads. Thanks in advance!
